The Weekly Rundown (“Ranked Again!”) Edition


1. We’re ranked:
Over the summer GW was ranked again by US News & World Report after being “unranked” last year and students received recognition as the most politically active student body in the nation.

2. Dean Guthrie:
Scandal reared in the Business School marked by the sudden dismissal of former and GW VP for China Operations Dean Guthrie amid misappropriation of $13 million in school funds and accusations of inappropriate sexual relations.

3. GW Housing Horrors:

Green mushrooms of mold expanding to envelop bathroom ceilings and tubs, cardboard covered in plastic lining is stuck to ceilings with blue tape to cover walls ripped away above.
A horror story?
No, just the tales of living conditions for some living in The George Washington University’s dormitories.
A Facebook page entailing the experiences and photos of students and interns living or who have lived in campus housing nears 1,000 likes.
